Awakening the Sound

Join us for an exploration of sacred music and sound in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. The evening program will include meditation instruction, musical demonstrations, discussion, and exploration of the Denison Museum's famous Buddhist collection. The program will feature Lama Adam Berner (DU Spiritual Life), Dr. Jue Liang (Dept. of Religion), a performance by ETHEL, and guests from the local Tibetan and Himalayan community.

This performance will be held in the Hylbert Family Studio Theatre. Most of the seating for this event will be on floor cushions. A small number of chairs will be available for those who need them.

All are welcome, but required to register for free tickets here. Part of Denison University’s Tiny TUTTI festival.
