“Patience Without Waiting” - Talk for Dallas KTC

For many of us, patience is synonymous with waiting. If we can just wait out this unpleasantness, maybe sleep through it...then we can be happy later. But the Buddhist practice of patience means increasing our ability to engage difficult situations now, with our eyes wide open, while reducing harmful tendencies of reactivity. We’ll discuss some situations that deserve patience, and the techniques that can transform them into the path of awakening.
